ABOUT - JENNY PAN

Personal trainer and Yoga teacher in clayton South, VIC 3169

Hi, I'm Jenny. What a wonderful opportunity for us to connect here, in this vast internet space. Allow me to share a bit about my journey into the world of yoga. It all began ten years ago during my school holiday when I first discovered a gym conveniently close to home.

Starting with group classes, like many beginners, I quickly found that yoga was my favourite, since it challenged me and calmed me at the same time—how strange! I always left the class feeling refreshed instead of tired, unlike other group classes. Another big plus for me since practicing yoga was that my acne condition improved, and I became more flexible, therefore feeling taller with better postures. Hooray!

Since then, I've been practicing yoga as both a passion and a gateway to relieve stress and stiffness when needed. I've been blessed to meet many inspiring yoga teachers who helped me progress and stay on track in my journey of discovery.

I used to be short-tempered and relied mostly on external compliments for self-confidence/ego. Yoga helped me understand myself much better so that I could give myself confidence and support when needed. Not only that, it helped me become a better human being and taught me to care more about the environment through its philosophy.

The regular asana practices, meditation, and self-learning helped me build a much better relationship with myself, the people around me, and Mother Earth.

I can hardly express how grateful I am for what yoga has done for me. As a certified yoga teacher, I am eager to share yoga with more people and let them experience the magic it brings for themselves.

Through reflection, I've come to understand that in today's fast-paced world, we are often pushed around by other people's or social expectations or our own judgements, which weakens or disturbs our connection to ourselves. We tend to forget who we are, what we want, why are we here, what we have, etc. Yoga serves as a sanctuary—a sacred space and time to quiet external noise and tune into our inner wisdom, allowing us to reconnect with our authentic selves.

If this resonates with you, you are welcome to join me on this transformative journey.
